Program Mission Statements:

  • At the PCA Early College High School, our mission is to provide the appropriate amount of support to mentor our students to become successful, autonomous college students with both academic and personal skills who are prepared to pursue additional college credits or enter a career as they become effective citizens and leaders of this world. 
  • At the PCA Pathways in Technology Early College High School, our mission is to work together with our college and business partner to build a better tomorrow through pathways of success by offering relevant and meaningful health careers opportunities.

Pineywoods Community Academy Early College High School (PCA ECHS) is a program within the high school that allows students an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and either an associate degree, certification, or at least 60 credit hours toward a baccalaureate degree. Our students are currently enrolled in various programs and dual credit courses leading to a future career including:

  • Automotive Technology
  • Barber
  • Cosmetology
  • Criminal Justice
  • General Studies
  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration
  • Multidisciplinary Studies
  • Nursing (LVN, EKG tech, CNA, Phlebotomy, and more)
  • Pharmacy Technology (age limits apply)
  • Surgical Technology (age limits apply)
  • Theatre 
  • Welding Technology

AC Spring Subterms

If you are in a minimester, the dates are as follows: 

Subterm 1 – January 11th through March 5th 

Subterm 2 – March 15th through May 6th 

PCA Spring Break

PCA will have spring break from April 12th through April 16th. Angelina College classes will still be in session. Please continue to follow your course timeline and due dates during this week. 

Last Day to Drop

The last day to drop a course is March 31, 2021. 

AC Spring Break

Angelina College Spring Break – March 8th through 12th. PCA still has school. 

PCA Winter Break

PCA will have winter break from February 15th through February 19th. Angelina College classes will still be in session. Please continue to follow your course timeline and due dates during this week.
