Pineywoods Community Academy High School
Pineywoods Community Academy High School, in partnership with its parents/guardians, seeks to instill in students high standards for academic scholarship, integrity, leadership and responsible citizenship. Designated an Early College High School by the Texas Education Agency, Pineywoods students spend part of their day at Angelina College beginning in grade 9 where they have the opportunity to take dual credit classes that allow students to earn high school and college credit at the same time. Transportation is provided for students from Pineywoods to the Angelina College campus. Students who begin the program in grade 9 have an opportunity to graduate with both a high school diploma and up to 60 college hours including an Associate Degree from Angelina College.
